The Mi`raj in Ahmadiyya Thought

The Ahmadis deny that the Prophet (SAW) physically ascended to heaven during the mi`raj. They claim that the mi`raj was a dream or vision and not a physical event.

In all of my research, the only person that I ever heard of who denied this event was Ibn Ishaq, who narrated a tradition wherein A`isha (ra) claimed that this was a dream. I have never seen a Qadiani refer to this data by Ibn Ishaq.

Questions:

1. When did MGAQ first claim that this was a dream?

2. What year and in which book did MGAQ first write this theory of his?

  1. No wonder why ahmadis are facing heat all around the world. A very basic fact which ahmadis do not realize that in the presence of non ahmadis they always try to hide their religion or hesitate to admit it. Wow! Such a great religion that they are ashamed of it. I have seen it with my own eyes, just to save themselves from been beaten up they hide themselves. On the other hand a true muslim would never hide his religion and always feel proud no matter which part of the world he is in. Ahmadiat is a curse and even ahmadis himselves are suffering from it. May God help them come to the right path. Amin

  2. vincent,
actually miraaj of holy prophet(sw) is also a kind of islamic proof that hazrat essa(aw) also ascended up above the sky by ALmighty Allah just like the way holy prophet(sw) was ascended up above the sky, hazrat essa(as) has also been taken there.qadiyanis need to deny holy prophet’s physical miraaj because they have to protect their believe of ESSa(as) fabricated death

  3. Not sure why I was invited to this site but it’s interesting nonetheless.

This site has a stated agenda of discrediting a particular set of beliefs and has a wealth of information arranged in this way.

I will state that throughout my research (ongoing) I have arrived to 2 very clear conclusions:

1: IF hadith are to be accepted as PART of Islam (as in Today I have perfected your religion for you) then much of the Ahmadi point of view is correct. It’s that simple.

2: IF you take Islam to be complete in the form of the Quran and the EXAMPLE (not sayings) of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) then there is no need for any further revelation of any kind and this also means that all SECTS are INVALID since they are also based on stuff AFTER the Holy Prophet.

It’s really not as difficult as everyone makes out but I understand that it’s tough for people to go against the teachings that they have been FORCED to accept throughout their entire lives.

Trying to discredit others is such a cliche and people who indulge in such practices should be reminded that People in Glass Houses should not throw stones.

Peace and Blessings of Allah the Almighty be upon you.

  4. I’m not sure I understand your point Pristine.

What you stated in point 1 requires elaboration if you would.

Please qualify how if hadith are to be accepted as part of Islam then the Qadiani point of view is correct.

Please give examples of how this would be the case.

I don’t think this website has a stated agenda of discrediting the Qadianis, on the contrary, it is here to provide intelligent Qadiani’s a wealth of information which the leaders of this cult conceal from their followers.

You stated ‘People in Glass Houses should not throw stones,’ what is it you mean by this comment as I’m at a loss to try and understand what you mean by this.

You must remember my dear friend, that most of the people on this blog were once part of this cult.

  5. x ahmedi,he will also convert oneday inshallah
“People in Glass Houses should not throw stones,”
x ahmedi,by saying it,he insinautes that we are wrong and we intend to save others although we should check out ourself.
may allah enlighten them, thats all i would say.

  6. @ Shella and exAhmedi

I was called here for my opinion and I have presented it.

I will clarify. ALL SECTS of Islam are corrupted. Sectarianism is a tool of Iblis. Any who try to tarnish others are not above being tarnished themselves.
I follow the Quran and the example of the Holy Prophet and I will happily explain my views to you but as I have already been told, this website is not for that purpose but for the purpose of trying to convert/revert people from Ahmadiyyat to Sunniism.

    Blind leading the blind.

  7. and BTW, whoever from this site is spamming other sites trying to drive traffic here should refrain from doing so in the interests of being civilised adults.

My views are not hidden and never have been and have discussed them at length on sites such as Naseeb.com and other muslims sites.

My vision is to try to bring peace and brotherhood back rather than the bitter and twisted infighting that exists amongst the sects.

This website is a prime example of twisted people using twisted logic and attacking others beliefs rather than providing a clear example of what a Muslim SHOULD BE.

    MaSalama

  8. yup pristine.we are all wrong, only you are right.happy now?and plz try to chat about the topic which is relevant

  9. Sorry, I did digress a little.

It’s a shame that you find being “right and wrong” the absolute ultimate in humility and obedience when in fact this is the disease with which most people are afflicted.

Trying to prove others “wrong” is just such a childish concept.

  10. “Trying to prove others “wrong” is just such a childish concept.”

Isn’t that exactly what you’re doing in this thread?

Who invited you by the way? Nobody from the administration team of this site has ever “spammed”. I want you to provide evidence of this accusation or retract your accusation.

Your defence of Ahmadiyya has been presented without any substantiation whatsoever. It’s clear you know nothing about it and are happily attacking those that do, whilst calling such attacks “childish”.

Ahmadiyya is a family business with interests in politics, masquerading as a religion. It is a personality cult about getting money for the Mirza family and their close friends, plain and simple and it is therefore evil.

If you’ve read the Qur’an, you will know that Allah (SWT) commands us to enjoin good and forbid evil. That is exactly what we do here, exactly what you’re attacking and exactly what you’re doing, except that the value system you appear to be using is your own muddled one, and not the system created for us by Allah (SWT) and practised in pristine purity by Rasulullah (saw) and his companions.

  11. @Shahid:
    1. Nope. I just offered my opinion. You don’t agree with it? Surprise !
    2. I was invited by someone using the nic MGA who has twice spammed one of the sites that I am an administrator of.
3.My “Defence of Ahmadiyya” ??? Can you read?
    4. Your attacks on Ahmadis are futile and irrelevant and serve the opposite purpose. Have you ever heard the phrase “Theres no such thing as bad marketing”. Are you sure you aren’t trying to introduce more and more people to Ahmadiyyat?
    5. All organised religions are the same. They require funding and political power and use the same tactics. It’s a shame such an enlightened person can’t see this.
    6. Your intentions may be noble but you possess neither the intellect or knowledge to make a difference. Cutting and Pasting out of context just doesn’t cut it when these issues have been discussed at length at the highest levels.
    7. The Ahmadi “cult” is one of the fastest growing “brands” of Islam on the planet thanks to the likes of you.

  12. 1. LOL!
    2. We have nobody by the name of MGA here. What’s your specific accusation? Or are you too small-minded to withdraw your accusation of spamming?
    3. Better than you it seems.
    4. Very sure actually, empirically. What about you, beyond the “bad marketing” of the Ahmadiyya?
    5. LOL – so personality cults are the same are they? You bracket Scientology with Islam?
    6. Ah, when you have been found out, you resort to smear. No surprise at all.
    7. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!
