Moreover, people rejected prophets out of arrogance. true. But in addition people gave excuses like that the prophets were liars (God forbid!) in order to 'hide' you can say their arrogance. This is exactly what people are doing today. Obviously they don't want to look arrogant in society, but rather intellectual and thoughtful. They do this by making up excuses, taking text out context to prove their point etc. People in today's society won't be much different from their anchesters. May Allah guide to accept the Imam of the Age, the Promised Messaih (AS).
